Online Learning Leadership in US Higher Education
Online learning is a vital part of US higher education. But what do we know about the leaders of online learning and efforts at their institutions? A national study of leaders at US universities in 2016 started to shed light on this work. A second study in 2017 complements and builds on that work by exploring leadership with another critical sector – community colleges. Given the relevance of this topic to virtually every higher education institution, this session will enable attendees to compare and contrast the results with their own institution and potentially inform future decisions in this area.
